By the time Shiye arrived at Locust Village, the sky was already dark.

However, because it was snowing, a thick layer of snow had already accumulated on the ground. The ground was covered in white and so were the surroundings.

The people of Locust Village were all asleep right now.

Shiye was afraid that he would wake up the villagers. If they saw him, they would suspect that Shao Youyue was not Xiao Mochen's sister at all, so he tied his horse outside Locust Village and walked into Locust Village alone.

He went there quietly.

Xue Dafu, Liu Guixia, and the others were actually all asleep. Only Jiang Yue and Xue Yan's rooms were still lit with an oil lamp. It was obvious that the two of them were still awake.

Jiang Yue walked to the oil lamp and was about to blow it out. When she was about to sleep, she heard the smashing sound of someone stepping on the thick snow. The sound was not loud, but it made her believe that there was someone outside.
