Bab 362: Wealthy

Because Yu Hongyan was pregnant, she wanted to go back and help out but couldn't. She was tasked to just help stuff some firewood in front of the stove. She slowly moved back and forth with her big belly.

Xue Da was not in a hurry to go back. He waited around to see what else needed to be completed.

Jiang Yue and Xue Yan were standing beside their grandfather.

With the middle beam up, the rest of the beams were easier to lift. He estimated that by today, all the beams would be installed. By tomorrow, he would only have to lay the roof with thatched grass.

He didn't buy any tiles for this workshop. He just built a thatched roof for the time being and thought about it later.

Jiang Yue looked around the workshop and saw that it was already surrounded by a fence. They were going to build a large courtyard. With so many people, it would probably take less than two days for the walls to be completed when the roof was laid.
