After twenty mages sat on the edge of the circle and infused their magic, the circle began to glow and fill the lines that had been drawn.

Yes, these mages wanted to create a barrier to protect their city!

Even though Nightshire City was not big, they needed many mages to put up a barrier.

Previously, Scarlett ordered twenty mages to create a barrier before heading to the entrance gate.

She did this for two reasons.

First, it was to protect their city, and last, it was to see the strength of their enemies.

When magical beasts tried to destroy the barrier, she would use the opportunity to see their strength.
