Ring ring!

The ringing of the phone buzzed Dominic off and he shifted his eyes to trace the ringing phone.

It was Staila's cell phone. He did not notice when the lady placed her phone there along with her files. He must be so lost in admiring her beauty that he could not even notice this simple thing.

"Huh, whatever." He mutters to himself to feel somewhat less embarrassed of his act as he bends on his spot and grabs the cell phone.

Yes, it was not appropriate to check someone's phone during their unavailability but Staila was not just someone. Not at least after their long lasting interaction. Yeah, it was still just a casual interaction. It was not as if they had spent ages together or Dominic was already her boyfriend to have the authority to check on her phone but again, whatever.
