Bab 142: 142. A little fun...

"Mmm... smells great. What are we having?" Jeremiah asked, rubbing his palms together and walked around the table to have a proper look at what Esther had prepared.

"You already ate, Miah. You're not part of this." Esther joked. She didn't mind if he joined, she just wanted to taunt him. "You're such a foodie."

"Hey! That's not fair! It wasn't like this one!" Jeremiah quickly said.

"Step aside, man." Rony jokingly stepped in front of him and gave him a slight push on his chest, making Esther laugh. Joshua just went over at the other end and sat down and Esther started serving them.

"Sausages!" Rony hyped the meal just to get a reaction from Jeremiah. "Oohh, and baked beans? That's amazing!!!" He peeked through his lashes to see Jeremiah's reaction.

"Tsk! You guys can't do this to me. Esther, come on! I only ate cereal for breakfast!" Jeremiah almost cried. Right now, he looked like a child who was being denied of something he liked the most.
