At this moment, Ethan Ainsley's shirt is a complete mess.

His eyes are slightly closed, a shadow cast by his thick eyelashes, his lips slightly parted as he takes gentle breaths, his adam's apple bobbing slowly as he calms down.

"Ethan Ainsley?" She leans toward him.

Ethan opens his eyes.

His eyes are still clear, but not as bright as during the day.

"Lola."

"Hm?"

"Let's sleep," he says.

Lola hesitates, then replies, "You sleep first."
