'Fuck!' Zed rarely cursed in his lifetime but right now, he could only shout such profanities inside his mind as he struggled for his dear life.

The more he desperately tried to gasp for air, the more he felt his chest being squeezed along with the taste of salty sweat and blood that entered his gaping mouth.

His eyes started becoming bloodshot the more he tried to inhale oxygen. Unfortunately however, no matter how hard he tried, no air would enter his lungs as he was constantly crushed between bodies he couldn't tell whose.

"GASP! GASP!"

Soon enough, Zed's vision slowly began to grow dimmer along with his hearing weakening. The loud and noisy shouts of the frenzied mob became nothing but distant and vague echoes inside his mind.

'Am I really going to die here? Just like this?'

'All because I stupidly tried to defend I child I don't even know?'

'What the hell?!'
