Bab 91: Back In The Mansion

The journey home felt like a blur to Elena. She felt physically and mentally exhausted. She closed her eyes while leaning her head on Elleard's shoulder. The next thing she knew she was in her bed.

Elena woke up and rubbed her temple. It still felt painful. She batted her long eyelashes and adjusted her vision. The light from outside her window made her realize that it was already late in the afternoon. Perhaps, three o'clock?

"You're awake, Madam." Greta's voice was heard from her right. Elena turned to the side and saw her maid standing with a worried expression. Samantha, the head housekeeper was standing beside her. As usual, she showed a professional and flat expression.

"Madam, you passed out on the way home. Master asked us to wait by your side until you woke up. How are you feeling now?" Samantha asked Elena politely.

"I feel horrible," Elena admitted.
