Bab 57: Breakfast With Elleard

Xavier went downstairs and met with Elleard for dinner. Elleard didn't ask Xavier how the punishment for Nima and her friends was carried out. It was as if nothing had happened on that day. They didn't usually deal with women but it didn't mean they felt any remorse or felt bad about hurting Nima and her friends for assaulting Elena.

No matter how Elleard felt about his wife, the fact remained, Elena was their family now, and nobody could bother their family members without consequences.

"Is she still sleeping?" Elleard asked without lifting his face. Xavier nodded. 

"She must be so stressed," Xavier said. He sat down beside Elleard and took his wine glass from the table. He sipped his wine and got lost in his thoughts. He was thinking of talking to Elleard about his request to Elena.
