Bab 144: Walked out like a zombie

Gwen stepped inside the building with a smile on her face. She was happy to see Karl burning in jealousy when he saw her and Luke chat.

She didn't understand his reaction back then, but now when she thought about it, Karl's jealousy made him accept his feeling towards her. And now she was going to use the same thing to make him understand how important she was to him and how he would lose her if he didn't take action quickly. 

She stepped into the elevator and watched the door close when someone blocked it and saw Karl stepping in.

Gwen was surprised to see him waiting for her to come because after watching her smile happily with Luke, he walked away, passing an angry look.

Composing herself, she looked away from him. His intense gaze made her feel nervous. She had seen them before but still kept her face straight, not allowing him to see through her and her nervousness.
