While living at home in isolation, forced to come to terms with my present and face the fact that I was not living anymore. I was ignorant as well as angry.

Alone in my room, I have tried to torture myself, trying to feel more than just a prickle over my body. But as the cells in my body were not completely alive, I barely felt anything.

I only know where I was hurt, but nothing more than that. But remember what I said, my cells were not completely alive, it doesn't mean they were dead either.

Any injury would cause their activity to rise, and at that moment, a small amount of heat will be generated. Enough hea that some steam would often come off my injury as my cells tried to heal my broken parts.

Fascinating, isn't it?

An ability that I treated as a curse was not so bad when I thought about it.
