Bab 88: Play Pretend

After that call and that conversation, Noel did everything to please Mickey Xing.

Anything just so he would get to be rightfully called 'Leon'. 

He learned about Leon's idiosyncrasies and hobbies from their database. His past, his likes and dislikes, anything to emulate him.

And instead of calling him 'Michael', he started calling him 'Mickey'. 

"Mickey, would you like for me to play for you today? Maybe you can even play the violin with me just like the old days."

Mickey Xing knew what he was doing. He found these attempts to be subpar, but he let Noel do so because he pity him.

His poor subpar creation.

Noel went on the piano and prepared to play.

He found out that Leon Mo and Mickey Xing had met due to joining the same music club back in high school. They were a few years apart. Mickey was much younger and was only a middle schooler when Leon was in his junior years.
