Ch 34: San Woo VS Ali Qing Part 2

the fight between the brothers wasn't that different than the previous fight, it went with Ali still having the upper hand.
but the same couldn't be said about Zhu Zhuqing and Xiao Wu. Xiao Wu was a power storm{?} type soul master while Zhu Zhuqing was a keen attack type.
so she wasn't that good at direct fights, she was an assassin. they were mostly equal since one of them had a higher strength and the other had a higher speed.
but there was one more thing that made the fight even more difficult for Zhu Zhuqing... the difference in level.
even though it was just a small difference of 2 levels, it still made it hard for her.
Zhu Zhuqing used her first spirit ring, hell rush stab which had the effect of doubling the speed and attacked Xiao Wu!
Xiao Wu and Zhu Zhuqing were already tie, but because of using her spirit ring, Zhu Zhuqing finally had the upper hand!
Zhu Zhuqing barraged Xiao Wu with attack of her long and sharp nails! forcing Xiao Wu to dodge and jump around!
seeing the chance, she used her second spirit ring, hell hundred claws and attacked her without giving her a chance to dodge!
a soul master's defense is a lot stronger than the normal human, so that weren't that afraid of injury. but because of Zhu Zhuqing being a sensitive attack type soul master, her attack power wasn't that strong until she got the opponent off guard.
but Xiao Wu's defense wasn't that strong either, so it definitely had some effect! after going at it for a few seconds, which is a lot in a fight, and Xiao Wu being on the defensive...
she saw the chance and used her own spirit ring! second spirit ring, charm! and unfortunately for Zhu Zhuqing, it worked perfectly and stunned her!
not wanting to waste the chance, Xiao Wu attacked her directly using her first spirit ring, waist bow by grabbing Zhu Zhuqing's shoulders for both leverage and to keep her in place!
but just when her strong kick was about to connect with Zhu Zhuqing's stomach, black with dark purple light shadow tentacles came out of the ground and trapped her limbs right where they were!
"what the?! what are these?!" {question of the century: "what are thoooosee?!"} and she began to struggle. but then, from the corner of her eye, she saw Ali pointing his hand at her direction in a grabbing gesture, with a toothy smile on his face!
Ali had always thought that elemental manipulation was really cool, so he thought that if he has these elements, couldn't he be creative with them and creat another self created spirit ability?
and guess what, he succeeded! but the one that he is most skilled at, is the shadow manipulation. since he had to start somewhere, he picked the safest option.
and he really liked shadow and ice manipulate, so why not start with them? and because of Shadow's flexibility, he can use it to also act as a control type soul master!
now, he is a storm attack type soul master because of his martial soul, support type soul master because of his wings, and control type because of his elemental manipulation!
but the only element that he can use on a good level is the shadow element, and only to use it to bind or tie someone.
and he is still messing around with the other elements and using his creativity to find new uses for them and some knowledge of other characters who also had elemental manipulation.
{please comment some moves or attacks for his elements {shadow, ice, fire, electricity, light}, I could use some help with them.}
"Zhu Zhuqing! get yourself together!" Ali told Zhu Zhuqing who was still in a slight daze. when she heard the voice of the boy who was a few meters away from her, she shook her head and when she saw Xiao Wu's situation, she didn't think twice and punched her stomach with enough force to throw her back!
"Xiao Wu!" Tang San screamed and when he saw that Ali was distracted, he attacked him with his blue silver grass to further distract him and rush towards Xiao Wu to grab her.
"Xiao Wu, are you alright?" he asked as he caught her in the sky and carried her in a princess carry. she groaned and said "augh, yeah I'm alright Xiao San."
"give up San'ge, you can't win. Xiao Wu's spirit power is running low and she can't win against Zhu Zhuqing while I restrain her.
and my martial soul is way to strong for you to try and restrain me. specially when I'm using my spirit rings. so the only reasonable action is to give up."
Ali said with his arms folded on his chest and looking at the two. "sigh, you're right. fine, you win this time Xiao Ali. but I will work hard to make the results different next time."
Tang San replied with a smile, but Xiao Wu wouldn't be Xiao Wu if she didn't provoke, insult or fight back now, would she?
so she looked away from the two future couple with a sharp twist of her head and said while pouting :"hmph, you just got lucky this time!"
to which the brothers chuckled and the San Woo team walked out of the field while fireworks went off and the host said :"Ali Qing wins!" while the audience cheered for the two perfect looking people on the field.
when they were walking back, Zhu Zhuqing said while looking down :"I'm sorry for not being that much of a help back there. I was careless and fell for her spirit ring ability even though I knew the effect..."
they walked slower, but Ali didn't stop, just looked at her with a small and gentle smile. this is a psychological trick that he learned in his past life.
when talking, walk with the person who you are having a conversation with. this will make it so that your movement and actions will be in sync, and because of that, the other person will focus his or her attention on you.
he gently and slowly put his hand on her back so that she won't be uncomfortable. she did tense a little at the sudden contact, but calmed down when he gently rubbed circles on her back with his thumb.
they looked at each other's eyes and Ali said with a calming tone :"that's not true, not true at all. yes I would easily win while using my full power.
but I wasn't using my full power. while I may have found a way to win the fight, it would be extremely annoying and I would have to pay a lot of attention to my actions.

it also gave him the courage to do something more, he took his hand off of her hand which, unknown to Ali, made her a little frustrated t the lose of contact.
but he did something more, he lowered his hand and... held her hand?! gasp! degenerate! pervert! you creep! lewd!!
she blushed deeply at his actions, but didn't resist nor did she pull her hand away and slapped him, so that's a very good sign!
while Zhu Zhuqing was a little tense because of them... 'gulp' hand holding... he squeezed her hand a little bit and continued with his gentle and calming tone:
"and while we're together, don't worry about making mistakes. cause we're a team now, right? and a team should protect each other." he finished his sentence with a second gentle squeeze and a smile.
she blushed even more, but her smile was even more genuine and there were tears in poor girl's eyes but she still nodded. it's not unexpected, considering her messed up life.
there is no fucking way that she will forgive her family. even if by some miracle she does, she will never trust them. I know because I've also had fucked up situation with my siblings, and my uncles and aunts that never made family the same.
and when Ali saw her with this kind of expression, he squeezed her hand again and they walked back to the group hand in hand.Zhu Zhuqing didn't resist now either, she even held it a little firmer than before.
{Ali's POV}
"huh? where are the others? hmm, they couldn't have left without us, so their probably outside waiting for us. let's go and get our points added and then go back."
"alright then." we did as I suggested, but it seems that the receptionist lady on the other side didn't like our public display of affection, and destroyed another poor pen. {another one meme here please.}
after we were done with that and me refusing to let go of her hand, we walked towards the door and got out. what greeted us was the face of our schoolmates talking and looking at us when we walked out.
it seems that San'ge and Xiao Wu also just met with them though.
when they saw us, all of them had different expressions. San'ge chuckled and shook his head with a smile.
fatty had a ohhh face and then gave a thumbs up to me and said :"respect Ali, you're really awesome!" though there was some jealousy in his tone.
Mubai had a little grim face, something a mix of anger, sadness and disappointment. after all, such a perfect fiance is holding someone else's hand.
Xiao Wu had a teasing smile on her face and it seems that she wanted to get back at us for winning the fight.
she looked at us and :"oh lala... don't you two look cute together? 'whistle'!" her teasing only made Zhu Zhuqing blush a little and finally tried to pull her hand away.
but I squeezed it and said with a teasing smile :"well~ there is no doubt to that. but I just remembered, since you rewarded me when I impressed you...
I should also do the same when you impress me. and your fight with Xiao Wu really did do the job, so here you go~!" I said and kissed her on the cheek!
fatty whistled with some jealousy on his face, and Xiao Wu put her hand on her mouth and giggled with a thumbs up.
San'ge didn't shake his head this time, but nodded like some wise old man with a smile... Dai Mubai just sighed with some disappointment and just shook his head.
Zhuqing didn't didn't react for a few seconds, just stood there stiff as a wood. but then she blushed like a strawberry and covered her face with her hands after she pulled her right hand away from my left hand.
it seems that Dai Mubai also got over it, cause he also joined us when we laughed at Zhuqing's reaction.
