Bab 97: What's done is done

Sharing a bed with Alina was in everything similar to sparring with her. She didn't settle for longer than 10 minutes, and kept sweeping her legs out. Ivo tried to avoid her constant shuffling but in the end he could only hug the corner of the mattress and hope not to roll to the floor if he managed to fall asleep at all.

Across the room he could see Davi sleeping peacefully on his front, bathed in the glowing lights of the city. 

To say that his plan had backfired was an understatement. Not that it made a difference. Davi was so furious with him over the situation with Letícia and Lucas that any flame of attraction was probably stubbed out into ash.

There was something else too. Something that Ivo only dared to examine now, in the darkness of the silent bedroom, staring up at the water stained ceiling, and relieving the moment in his mind like a reel.
