Her gut feeling told her she needed to spend the day with her father. But it seemed he was on his way out and was in a hurry.
However, she had many questions that needed answers. She doubted she could wait for her father to return before she could get her answers.
As everyone knew, patience was not one of her greatest virtues. When she wanted, she had to get it. She never liked being the second priority.
"But Dad," She deliberately protested, not wanting her father to leave as she stood in his way. "It is important that we talk." She purposefully insisted, not wanting her father to turn his back on her.
She moved before her father, blocking his path toward his awaiting car. Somewhere in the depths of her thoughts, her mind nagged at her. It insisted that her father was on his way to meet her sister.
