Love!
A few weeks ago, he could not even include that word in his dictionary. To him, it was a foreign word that had no place in his business. But now, he could not help but wonder if he had fallen in love with this woman.
Categorically, he admitted that she had been in his mind all day. All he could focus on while hunting was killing his prey. So he could finally go home and see her.
At that moment, all he could think about was looking into her eyes, feeling her body against his, savoring those supple reddish lips and enveloping her in his arms. But he guessed he had to wait.
"What about you? How was the hunt?" She asked as if she was changing the subject as she looked down at her entwined fingers resting on her lap.
He knew she was avoiding looking at him. He wished he could read her mind as plainly as he could guess what his opponents were thinking. But he could only conclude that emotions were never his strong suit.
Thanks
