Bab 358: Reconciliation

Rosie took a deep breath. Aslan who heard that looked back to see if his wife was really asleep or just pretending to be asleep. He immediately closed his eyes, as he could sense the girl's movements.

Then, Aslan slightly opened his eyes again and saw his wife leaving just like that. He woke up to see Rosie's back coming down the stairs. No, they couldn't go on like this. If Aslan kept on giving her a space, then the space between them would widen and he didn't want that to happen.

Aslan stopped at the end of the stairs. He looked for Rosie who was not in the house. Then, his gaze shifted to the front door which was open wide..

"Where did she go on a cold night like this?" asked Aslan who rushed after his wife and was surprised to find Rosie coming back in with a large basket of their clothes.

"Where are you from?"

"I forgot to take the laundry."
