Bab 87: For The Second Time

Randall got too stunned to speak. What is she doing now? What were the thoughts running through her mind while reaching out to his hand? Is it worth grasping for, if she's just doing it for favor? 

For the second time, their bodies touched. If only she had the courage to entwine it, Louise would do it. But no, she still has a shame down her bone. 

A fleet of the touch and Louise had to withdraw. The electricity died down, and the connection was enough to make her decide to discontinue the engagement. Randall's hand froze in midair.

With his decision of stepping out of the limousine, Randall should have done sooner. They have crossed the bridge already, far away from the mansion where she drove to. 

Randall has gone occupied with the order he had yet to receive from Louise, asking, "Are you serious about the job that's too dark to even illuminate at? If you're planning to hire me as the killer, give me the lifetime seal of guarantee and I'll do it."
