Bab 244: Let Her Choose

"You can not keep her with you forever." The words kept ringing in Leo's ears even when the party had ended long ago.

He looked worried, he looked empty. What if he lost Renee too. Evan was with him but he could not touch her or hug her, except looking at her face and hearing her voice occasionally, he couldn't do anything with her.

Renee had brought all the loose strings of his life back and made his family complete. How could he let her go?

But she had to leave to gain control over her powers. If she stayed as a sheltered princess, she would never be able to use her powers and be weak.

He tossed toward the other side and saw Renee sleeping with a smile on her face. She looked so sweet, so innocent, he did not want to drag her in the middle of the war. She did not deserve it. She deserves a much better life.

But she would not want that. She is a strong girl and would never want to be protected and sheltered.
