Qin Chen was at a loss for words, and his expression became awkward. He had secretly placed a restriction on Ling Ran, and she did not know about it. Now that Ling Ran had asked him, it was a little difficult for him to answer.

Pretending to be calm, he coughed and replied in a deep voice, "I was inevitably a little worried about you going to Tianxia City alone, so I placed a restriction on you. Don't worry though, this restriction will only be triggered when you're in a life-and-death situation."
