Bab 135: Root cause of the problem

Three months later. 

"Grandfather, how are you feeling?" Song Jingren asked as he glanced at the old man lying on the hospital bed. It had been a couple of months since his grandfather was admitted to the hospital. The doctors said that it was a miracle as the old man was saved from the brink of death. 

"I'm fine, " The old man said in his robotic military tone. He didn't look pleased to be here in the hospital when he first woke from the coma but slowly he began getting adapted to it. However, Song Jingren could tell that the old man had started to want to go back home. Not that he blamed his grandfather for it. Anyone would want to go home after staying for months in a dreary hospital. 

"Where is your mother?" The old man asked, annoyed. 

"She is with grandma, "Song Jingren replied monotonously. "Grandma wanted to go to the temple but mom thought it would not be safe if Grandma went all by herself."
