Their exchange ended with a simple yet conclusive decision: Daphne would not bring up the name of Aurin in front of Korbin ever again. Unless, she wanted to be so sore that she couldn't haul herself off the bed. 

"Just let him remain as the perfect person in your mind. And that's exactly all he will be: a memory." 

She wanted to ask him about the underground cavern with the strange painting, but seeing how he had received the name Aurin, she decided to keep her mouth shut for the time being. 

It was clear that he didn't want that portion of her memories to return anyway. And equally, it was clear that she wanted her memories back. 

If their collaboration was to proceed, it might be better to solidify its foundation first before revealing that its two parties were on opposite sides of the page. 

Plus, he claimed that they had more important matters to tend to, never giving her any opportunity to confess.
