The battle of one man vs a closed base was one-sided. The numbers of the people who died… were countless because Haru didn't even bother counting them.
Haru was raining swords on them, and when he was done, he would send meteors. The meteors only got bigger and stronger with each time. Haru noticed that they drained a high quantity of the Chi. Although; it gets less with the level up. But it was nothing compared to what he has. Haru had only used one on a tenth of his Chi now.
He thought that this may be because of his high level.
And what contributed him to reach this level was that this life, this game, was put on easy mode.
If Haru put it on hard mode, then he may be on level 9 by now.
So, considering that he reached level 19 now, Haru's Chi was like an ocean or more compared to the other benders.
But that's a natural result for someone who wanted to have more power than the avatar himself.
"I'm done," Haru muttered as swept the dust from his shoulder. There were some survivors who hid from the meteors.
Haru didn't feel like killing them. But this is war.
"For the sake of the new age." He clapped his hands. The metal next to the hidden benders pierced them, killing them.
Haru closed his eyes as he was looking for a certain thing. He moved his hand, and the base started moving. Soon, something floated in his direction. It was a cage with a hawk. Haru looked at the body of Zhao, who was burned by his subordinates and took a stamp that was tied to his belly.
Haru took a pen and paper that were next to the cage, and he started writing something. He closed the paper with a Zong's stamp, handed it to the hawk, and he threw it in the sea's direction. This hawk should deliver the letter to the Fire Lord, Ozai.
Haru wanted to tell the man, who was having a comfortable life something. Haru, who had been suffering, wanted to send it to the man who was having a good time in his palace.

Haru left the base as he jumped through the door. He walked toward his ride, picked it up, and headed in the direction of the town. It seems that the earthbenders weren't here. They seemed to trust his word and go to the town. Or, they may have just cowered and escaped. Haru shook his head. He will find out once he arrives.
It was night, the moonlight shone brightly.
Haru arrived at the town and stopped his ride. Feeling the vibrations of the earth, Haru could tell that things were going in the earthbenders favourite. After all, most of the firebenders were in that base. And the ones who remained in this town were on vacation, or they were patrolling to keep the order. The earthbenders had ambushed them from behind, making them sink to the ground.
The original citizens of the city, who had been forced to work like slaves to pay the taxes, joined the earthbenders and held weapons against the patrols.
Haru stared at the tied firebenders, earthbenders were around him and smiling proudly.
"I must say, I'm impressed that you did it in so little time." Haru raised his eyebrows. He jumped off his horse and stared at the scared firebender. These guys must be lucky that they hadn't faced him. Instead of showing fear, they should show happiness.
"The only impressing thing is your bending skills, prince." One of the previous prisoners said. He was a very young man.
"Please, just call me Haru." Haru acted humble. He then looked at them one by one. "I bet you are hungry and missing your families already. Fulfil yourself first."
The benders, who were happy, started to appear to be taken by emotions. Since most of them were girls, they had tears, and they started looking for their families.
Haru decided to use this time for something good. Maybe building a 4 meters thick wall would be good to protect this town. Omashu had very strong defences thanks to the thickness of their walls that can only be moved by skilled earthbender. It had made Haru wonder why the towns and the villages of the Earth Kingdom didn't build ones.
"Uncle… you are here!" a young 10 years old kid hit Haru's stomach.
Haru lowered his head. It was Rong, the kid whom he had hit into earlier.
"Uncle?" Haru pointed to himself. "Do I look that old?"
"What happened, I heard some screams, the ground shook as if someone was bending it…" Rong said innocently. "It's not like I am afraid of something. I came just to fight."
Haru clicked his tongue and let a sigh.
Haru hadn't met the father of the kid. So, it's obvious what happened to him. Haru didn't want to be the one to deliver the news. Maybe his mom will pick up something.
He bent down and held his shoulder. "You are too late. Go to your mom."
"What are you talking about! She is gone…"
Haru pointed behind him. Rong ran toward Rune and screamed Mommy something. Both of them started hugging.
Soon, more of the original citizens of this city came to meet their families.
Haru sat by the side, leaning on a near wall, and picked up a bottle of water when no one was watching.
Seeing how everyone was warmly welcoming each other made him think about his home.
'Just like Bumi said. It's a very lonely path…' Haru drank the water.
A man like him has two things to focus on. Getting stronger, and having more power.
While Haru was immersed in his thoughts, he felt many gazes at him.
"All hail the prince, Haru!" an old man yelled.
The remains started yelling. "Prince Haru! Haru! Haru!…"
Haru acted as any famous guy would. He waved his hand and smiled.
"Enough… just meet with your families already," Haru said and put a leg above another.
"Prince! What will happen to us!" A citizen female said as she run forward.
Now that they lost this city to a new rule, the Fire Nation citizens won't have the same position as always.
"Let me just kill them." A man said as he made the ground shake.
Haru lifted his hand, stopping the bending of the man.
"You guys, and girls," he talked to the Fire Nation people. "Will not be harmed. You will work to pay taxes. And if you don't, you will be prisoned and punished. Work and live. Don't work and leave. I'm pretty sure you can fight the animals outside. Also, since your houses and money came from this land, the Earth Kingdom, you will give it back, and you are going to live with the poor neighbours.
"Any objection?" Haru lifted his hand, and many swords filled the sky above them.
The Fire Nation had ruled with a fist of iron. And so shall Haru rule them.
The citizens found that they have no choice.
Haru didn't feel sorry for them. These people came to the Earth Kingdom to have a better life and higher status. They wanted to use the land that didn't belong to them. They should accept to be used in that land, just as they used its original citizens.
"Thank you for your wise decision, prince." Surprisingly, that woman bowed to Haru. She seemed to be happy that she got out alive. All of the ego they should have faded away.
It seems that they know what really rules. Might. It controls everything.
As for the firebenders, Haru turned to them and said. "For these guys, let's just prison them and use them as hostages. If anyone from there decided to rebel or do something stupid, we will publicly execute them."
Haru wasn't a bad guy. From the depth of his heart, he prayed that no one would be stupid to disobey the laws.
The earthbenders nodded.
Haru rested on the wall and let the people have their family reunion.

Everything settled. The fire soldiers were taken to special prisons created by earthbending, and can only be opened by earthbending.
Everyone was asking Haru's opinion before making their decisions. He was a leader in the heart of everyone.
Currently, they were gathered in the centre of the city. Haru had a suggestion to make.
"While I'm staying here. Let's build a wall. Just because we are over, doesn't mean that you won't be attacked again."
The benders lowered their heads when they heard his words. Knowing that temporary victory
"Do you think we can do it in little time?" asked an old woman.
"I, alone, think I can cover this whole town in three days," Haru said. Well, he doubted that he can do it in one day. But there is no need to rush. "But I have a question for you?"
Everyone looked at Haru.
"In the future, will you join me to kick the Fire Nation army out? I can teach you very useful tricks if you do." Haru said.
Haru already knew the answer. Since everyone here shared the hatred toward the Fire Nation, they will join him. The women specifically were forced to higher up with weird tastes, so they hold grudges. Same for the men.
All of them nodded.
"Now, I need to think of a place where to sleep." Haru stretched his arms up. "It was a tiring night. Does anyone know where I can stay for three days? Is there a motel around?"
He only realised it now. He needed a place to sleep in. Same for everyone who left the prison. Well, these people have their families to go back into.
"Uncle, you can stay in our place," Rong said with a smile and excitement.
"Did I not tell you not to call me that. I'm still young." Haru said, but his expression changed when Rong's curvy large breasted mother, Rune, smiled.
"Just call him big brother." She smiled at Haru. "Please, pardon my child."
"Never mind." Haru sighed as he looked down.
Rune smiled at Haru, a little blush on her face, and said. "Please, we will be happy to offer you shelter in our house. No need to stay in a motel."
Haru found himself accepting. "If you insist, sure."
"Yay!" Rong jumped, excited.
'Why do I feel like I adopted someone. What's this called in my previous life: stepmom script?'
