"You can't. If you kill me, you will not remain safe!" Seranna said.

"I don't fear anyone!" Augustus sneered, tightening his grip on Sarenna's life force. "You should have done your homework before stepping into our territory. Now, you'll pay the price for your ignorance and insolence. You'll be buried right here, right now."

Sarenna pleaded pitifully, "No, please don't do it." She secretly charged up her dark powers, hoping to strike Augustus dead.

But what Sarenna failed to consider was that Augustus didn't care about treating women with gentleness. Not to mention, he considered her a monster that didn't deserve to continue living despite the fact that she was as beautiful as a goddess. He ignored her pleas and pressed the life core of the crimson mage between his fingers until it was no more than dust.

In an instant, Sarenna lost her powers, and her body began to wither away.
