The system notification rang in Roy's ears.

Roy smiled. It was honestly pleasant news. He had become so strong that he had stopped earning stats from killing beasts. The stronger the person, the harder it was to increase stats. So he had hit a plateau. But the undead monsters of the ashen land were really special. He earned an increase in his stats each time he killed them, and killing the Lich gave him the most amount of stats!

It wasn't the quantity that mattered. It was the quality.
