"We need to find a way to clear their name first if we want to adopt them."

Roy explained to the Female Siren that there was a complex procedure behind adopting the two half-elves.

"I will help you with that." The Female Siren promised.

She lowered her eyes at him, sharp glints flashing in them as she said to Roy, "Anyway, how about you introduce to me the girls who were sticking close to you just then?"

Roy felt like a cheater who was caught in the act, but he cleared his throat and acted like a guilt-free person.

"The one on the right is Amelia. She has been with me for as long as I can remember. The one on the right is Delilah. She recently became my maid and has helped me with a lot of things. They are quite helpful." Roy introduced his maids to her.

"You can't imagine a life without them, right?"

She smiled at him, asking him a question that he found too hard to answer.

Roy opened his mouth and closed it. He was at a loss for words.
