That was the last thing Loyd heard before a superconcentrated beam of chaotic energy pierced through his chest, leaving a massive hole where his heart should be and incinerating the rest of his internal organs. The searing pain was instantaneous, and the damage so immense that, despite his Void Eclipse soul force, he lost every ounce of strength in his body. Barely able to turn his head, he glimpsed massive demonic draconic maws opening around his head.

Grand Elder Kryos was just as shocked as Loyd. Time seemed to stand still for a moment as he watched Cain's devastating attack obliterate the Archangel. Then, the realization set in. A wide smile appeared on Kryos's face as he saw Cain devouring the entire body of the Archangel, marking the end of Loyd's life.
