Bab 1308: Lady Alume's move

While the surroundings of the Howling Abyss had become a massive battlefield, with the forces of the Tiamat Sect and the Sun Church clashing with all their might and filled with killing intent, one power remained static: the Moon Cult. 

The saintesses who had emerged from the Primeval World were at a loss about what to do. Unlike Cain, who had rallied the Ancient Dragons with a few words, Meylin could not spur her fellow saintesses into action with mere speech. It wasn't that the young woman lacked might or that her aura wasn't imposing; rather, the saintesses had been tasked with maintaining neutrality among the factions. Moreover, unlike the dragons, they harbored no animosity toward the angels of the Sun Church. They couldn't simply leap into the battlefield and commence a slaughter.
