Bab 144: I made sure I got them

I slept well that night.

Well maybe not slept.

A more accurate verb would be "blacked out".

I remember closing my eyes and opening them again to the loud blaring of the cent4al alarm in what felt like only a second in between.

"Damn central alarms and their evil designer!" I cursed loudly.

"God if you're real and if you can hear me, make the evil designer of the central alarm wake up early every morning! Don't let him sleep in ever, at all!" Roland Hu shouted with frustration.

But that was all we could do. Curse, grumble, and then curse even more.

We quickly got up, showered and had our usual massive breakfast before going to our usual practice field.

It was the third day of school, and it was a beautiful sunny day, with nary a white cloud. The sky was a gorgeous deep blue and the air was crisp with the freshness of the upcoming spring.

The massive field was filled with five hundred massive practice mechas that day.
