It has been a few days since Reku and his orc company set out to march towards their home territory, a settlement located deep in the part of the Gorkatak mountains.
During these time, Reku spent his days interacting with the orcs and teaching them how to make smoke sausages.
A particular orc that goes by the name of Wuka was now exceptionally good in making sausages.
Not only can he copy the exact form of the sausages made by Reku, he also improvised the food by mixing it with various spices found just everywhere in the mountains in the form of a thorny shrub.
Though this shrub did not exist in Alexandro's previous world, it is a common plant here in this world percieved as everyone as an average and annoying piece of plant that only a little few including wuka knows what they're really are for.
The spices, which were carefully extracted from the shrub's roots were afterwards crushed until it becomes powder before sprinkling it in the said food.
It also has a salty and sour taste, to which Reku enthusiastically approved of to be used on his recipes from now on.
And as such, Wuka became the company's main and trusted cook due to his diverse knowlegde regarding the art of cooking.
Though he don't have the advance knowlegde regarding cooking compared to Reku, he sees Wuka as someone with a very promising potential.
And Reku believes that in only a matter of time, with his guidance, he would turn Wuka into a professional chef complete with knowledge he had on his previous world about cooking.
Currently, Reku, Wuka and a couple of orcs can be seen silently stalking a forest bear in the middle of the woods, with the obvious intention to kill and eat it.
"I can't imagine how much meat we'll get after we kill it." Reku said to Wuka, slightly chuckling.
Wuka grinned, before responding to Reku's words.
"And the sausages, we'll have rations that would last for atleast a few more days." Wuka said, licking his lips like a craving mad orc.
Reku then focused his gaze at the bear who was walking around aimlessly in front of them.
Apparently, Reku and his hunting party are currently hiding behind a few dense bushes and trees, completely invinsible from the bear's presence.
The bear has a ridiculously large size, a thing very common in this world compared to the much smaller sizes of animals in Reku's previous world.
To say the bear was of the same size as Reku was an understatement, also considering the fact that the orc's average height in this world is 6-7 feet tall.
Smiling, Reku turned his head towards his left and saw the other two orcs crouching besides him.
These two orcs were the same orcs who had gone with Reku when they hunted that particular boar the other day, all of them were armed with wooden throwing spears and axes.
Their names are Roum and Bous, and over these past few days, had formed a small bond of friendship with Reku himself.
"Okay, same with the other day, throw your spears at the bear before we charge at the creature and hack it to death." Reku explained his plan to everyone before they eventually nodded their agreements.
It was a simple tactic, incapacitate the bear by rending it injured and weaken by the spears thrown by them before pouncing on it with everything you got.
Not to mention, their severe advantage of having the element of surprise.
The massive bear would be injured before it knew it was being attacked.
"Alright, throwing spears ready."
Once they heard Reku's order, Roum and Bous carefully raised their spears, it's tip pointed towards the bear.
"At the count of three..."
They begin to stretch their arms backward, ensuring enough force would be use when they finally throw the spears.
"One"
Reku can feel the two orcs at my side becoming tense at the mention of this first number.
"Two"
But before Reku could say 'Three', whirring sounds were suddenly heard, followed by a deep guttural roar of pain.
Startled and surprised, they all turned their gaze towards the location where the noise came from and immediately saw the bear thrashing about.
But what caught their attention were the several spears sticking out from the large bear's body.
'What the...' Reku thought as he turned his head to the side and saw Roum and Bous with surprised expressions, not only that, but the two still had the throwing spears on their hands, which indicated the spears thrown at the bear did not come from them and instead from someones.
Afterwards, multiple rustling can be heard on the bushes and trees near the bear's direction, followed by a deep orc roar.
"We got company, stay down." Reku advised the other orcs as they witness multiple orcs wielding clubs, axes and spears came out from the bushes and charge towards the already wounded bear.
Wuka watched the scene with utter disappointment like a child whose toy was taken away from him.
"Our prey." Wuka clenched his teeth as he watched the orcs butcher the wounded bear to death.
Reku however was carefully observing the new party of orcs that shamelessly stole their prey.
They were atleast seven of them, all of them were wearing rags covered with leather armor that were dyed red.
'Wait a minute...' Reku's memories began to trigger as he watched the newly arrived orcs with familiarity.
"That's the..." Before Reku could finish his words, Wuka suddenly interrupted him.
"The Trakus." Wuka muttered, his voice clearly seething with anger.
According to Reku's memories, the Traku clan is the clan responsible for the downfall of Reku's nameless clan just because of some petty misunderstanding.
Though Alexandro(Reku) had no grudges or some form of anger against the Traku clan, his new body has imbedded him the old Reku's memories and feelings.
And as such, Reku could already feel his blood boil at the sight of his most hated foe aside from the Terkits.
"So what's the plan?" Roum suddenly asked.
'The plan..?' Reku repeated Roum's question on his mind, his lips slowly curling up into a wicked smile while his eyes were fixed glue towards the Traku warriors in front of them.
By now, the bear was already dead and it's killers were busy trying to chop up the body into several pieces for each of them to carry back to where they came from.
"After I kill one of them, you two follow suit by throwing your spears towards the bastards." Reku told the two orcs besides him before picking up a medium-sized rock on the ground.
At this, the two orcs just nodded while Wuka himself smiled, licking his lips as he slowly unsheathed the two iron cleavers strapped on his back.
As the Traku orcs continued disposing and working on the body of the creature they had just killed, Reku meanwhile suddenly stood from his cover.
Due to this, the bush cover in front of Reku made a rustling noise which caught one of the Traku's orcs attention.
But before he could alert the others, Reku had already thrown the rock towards the suspecting orc in a very quick and very powerful manner.
Due to his superhuman strength plus the kinetic energy, the rock flew like a bullet.
Eventually after a few seconds, the rock has hit it's mark, landing in the orc's forehead.
The heavy and strong impact caused a powerful wave that ran through inside the orc's head, piercing the tough skin and shattering the frontal skull in the process.
The orc merely stared at Reku for a moment before he dropped to the ground, his cracked forehead bleeding like a river.
This caused the other Traku orcs to be startled and surprised, thus they immediately dropped what they were previously doing and started to form up, others unsheathing their blades as they prepare themselves for the attack.
But some weren't very lucky as Roum and Bous immediately threw their spears at the gathering of Traku orcs after Reku killed one of the Traku warrios.
One of the spears lodged itself unto one of the orc's chest, killing him instantly.
While the other spear found itself stuck on one of the orc's leg, causing him to roar in pain, thus rendering him immobile on the process.
Afterwards, Reku and his small hunting band of orcs immediately charged at the Traku warriors who were now beggining to panic.
"Raagh!" Reku's berseker instinct immediately took over as he swung his sword and immediately sliced a shocked Traku orc in two who was brave enough to confront him.
Afterwards he moved on to the next orc target and began to exhange blow after blow with him.
While Reku is still in the middle of rampaging, his fellow orcs crashed with the enemy warriors whose morale is now starting to plummet.
Metal clashed against metal as blood was spilled between both sides, thus marking the start of the small battle that was about to take place in some random location in the Gorkatak mountains.
