Bab 143: Comfort in pain

He hugged me. He stroked my back to comfort me.

"It's okay, Elena... it's okay to cry the pain out. I'm here," he said softly and hugged me tighter. "That'll be gone too, trust me."

I hope so... I hope so. Because otherwise, I might go crazy.

When I calmed down, I let go of Wilson's hug. He handed me a handkerchief which I immediately wiped with the tears running down my cheek, as well as the mascara that spread under my eyes. It made me look horrible so I immediately wiped it. But it didn't do well so I wet the handkerchief a bit. Wet wipes would be better, but I don't have it now so I'll settle for this.

I quickly adjusted myself and retouched so as not to notice that I was crying. Now, it's my pride that's all I have. And the least thing I could do is to save it.

After I got satisfied on my look, I turned to him. We can't stay here long because someone might have entered.

"Are you okay?" he asked gently. The look is predictable.
