As soon as I checked on my parents this morning, they informed me they were going on another cruise, and I didn't need to worry about them. Mom invited me to join them. Lord knows I needed a break, but with the lawsuit, it wasn't an option at the moment.

"Damn, you need another one?" Corey asked as I sat at the bar nearly slumped over it feeling as if my world was coming to an end.

"Yep, been such a shit day."

I didn't hesitate on filling him in on everything, including my fake relationship with April. He swore to secrecy,

"Sounds like it" Ed clapped my shoulder. Damn, I should've been paying more attention.

"I have some good news, I would like to share with you gentlemen." Corey poured out three shots.

"Yep, I managed to get off a little early." Ed plopped down beside me. "Now, I need to have whatever he's having and hear this good news. I could do with some cheering up."
