Bab 22: Chapter 22

I didn't want to turn back for the first time in my life, I wanted to face my fear and deal with it. Did it make me feel better? The crazy part was that it did, because I knew what had to be done.

As soon as I took a deep breath and hopped out of the limo. I was surprised to see the door open from the house, my sis. She was waiting for me. I wondered if mom had called her and told her that I was on my way.

"So, you decided to put on your big boy pants and big shoes and head down here, did you?" She asked as I approached her.

I could have said something funny, but I wasn't in the mood. Her attitude was one that I deserved and part of me was annoyed by her presence. Until she wrapped her arms around me.

"It's been tiring carrying this alone. I'm glad that you're here."

What did she mean alone?

I pulled back from her embrace, "How is she?"

She nodded while fighting back the tears, avoiding my stare.
