Soon after, she took a deep breath and straightened to crane her neck stiffened from having being lowered to a discomforting position for so long.

Derek was going to keep on watching her for a while, but once he spotted the pale red dots on her thumb, his jaw clenched.

"What are you making?" He immediately asked from behind.

A startled Rain gasped and immediately sprang up. In the commotion, her thumb got poked by the needle once more and she grimaced tightly, turning sharply to angrily glare at Derek, while also hurriedly gathering the sewing items behind her back and away from his view.

Rain was truly saddened that she had no rights to express her aggrievances at a time like this. Otherwise, she would have poured out her no good heart contents that instant.
