　　I have never hated my father so much than in this hour. When Desiree stood by the window, I knew she would jump. I felt it, and Kristof felt it too. I had to leave. Why couldn't my father tell that he was killing me? His words and actions were killing me, and I did not know if I would be able to take anymore. Asking me to abandon the girl I loved to her fate was wicked. How did he expect me to fight strong, knowing Desiree wasn't protected.

　　"I thought you wouldn't come because of that Moon bitch of yours, "My father said to me through the mind link, and I ignored him. Kristoff was in so much pain that he howled. Desiree's words played in my head, and I couldn't concentrate. She believed she was dead either way.

　　My father gathered every warrior, putting the moons at the front and the bloods behind them.
