"Are you sure about the plan?" The Kraken asked again. Even thru the mind link, one could still detect the anxiety in his voice. "I don't want to die because of your plan! I don't want to die because of this contract!"

"Just follow my lead," Sue assured the Kraken as they descended to the stage.

The cheering sound of the spectators filled the arena. Cheers for their bets resonated in every nook and cranny of the dome, not minding the imposing giant with hundreds of tentacles floating over the stage. Their minds were fixated on the idea of gold coins which they would either gain or lose depending on the performance that they would be watching.
