Bab 433: Restaurant

The town, at first glance, appeared to be a bastion of security, with its serene streets, where pedestrians strolled casually along the sidewalks and cars moved gracefully through the thoroughfares. There was an unspoken tranquility that permeated the air, offering a sense of calm and solace that was both unexplained and deeply appreciated by those who dwelled there.

As the two companions, unnamed at this point, traversed the streets of this seemingly peaceful town, the prospect of a meal presented itself. "Diner?" one of them inquired. The man addressed as Greg shook his head, a wry expression on his face.

"The last time I went to a diner, I found myself clogging the toilet for three days straight," Greg recollected with a shudder. "It was an awful experience."

The other man raised an eyebrow, a mischievous glint in his eye. "Are you sure that wasn't just Taco Bell?"
