Bab 119: The Weapon of Choice

Liao Yan, Captain of the Shigetsu Squad, was sitting on the sofa outside the training room. He was looking at the cloak to strike at a given time before entering the room.

He stood up and took a deep breath before going in. Inside was Mei, training her aim, but she still couldn't hit the center.

"Good job," Yan stated and clapped twice. He was approaching Mei, who was too focused on her targets.

"Ah! Senior Yan!" Mei exclaimed and dropped her wand, an item she was using to hit the target.

Yan looked at the wand and the targets. He was dissatisfied with the outcome but didn't want to put pressure on Mei since he knew she was working hard.

"Mei, your training is over. Pack up, and we'll eat outside," Yan stated and gestured for Mei to come out.

"Yes, senior Yan!" Mei smiled widely.

The two of them went to the nearest restaurant that served hot meals. They ordered ramen.
