Bab 108: Backup

"Of course, Ms. Rosina!" 

Montmorency managed to wrangle Colt into letting go of his new comfort item. With that, Hershey got peeled off and hauled to her feet by Rosina. 

Hershey whined like a sleepy toddler, protesting against Rosina's attempt to bring back her dignity. Colt robotically followed Montmorency's directions, tucked into the couch, and thoroughly watered and medicated. 

"I'll call you soon, dear," she assured him, smoothing his hair gently as a mother would. "You should probably take a nap yourself and drink plenty of fluids." 

"Nghhh," was all the reply that left Hershey's lips. "Some honey trap this turned out to be-" 

"Thank you for having us, Mrs. Radcliffe. If you will please excuse us." 

Rosina quickly gathered her to the door, still baffled by her change in demeanor. Hershey had been an anxious mess for a while now, and not even a visit to the spa could likely relax her in any way.
