Bab 88: Chapter 88: A game of polo V

The fifth chukker began, and the first to gain possession of the ball was Charlton. Leonard and Emily were quick to chase, and in just a few seconds Leonard was already moving in Charlton's line shoulder to shoulder while Emily was tailing from behind.

Leonard and Emily were attempting to steal the ball, but Charlton's control was very precise. As the two were thinking that Charlton was aiming for the goal, they were not able to follow quickly when Charlton maneuvered his horse to the left, changing the line of ball.

Charlton knew that he could not get rid of the two for long, thankfully, Annalys was able to position herself where he could easily see her.

Their eyes met for a millisecond and like it was a silent agreement, Charlton hit the ball with his mallet making a long pass to Annalys.

Annalys galloped on her horse towards the goal posts as she hit the ball up and down the field.
