Bab 164: Crown Princess vs The Empress?

Yang Ning raised her brows at the Empress when she asked her a question in front of everyone. She wasn't even the one who ordered the guards to stop her from entering His Majesty's chamber, yet she was asking her a question as if she was the one who blocked her from going inside. 

Rather than panicking at her complicated question, Yang Ning nodded at her words and said, " Yes, You are right. You have all the right to meet His Majesty and no one can stop you. Not even His Highness." 

"You are His Majesty's First Consort and stopping you from meeting His Majesty is unfair and disrespectful." She added. 

"Your Highness," The guard looked at Yang Ning in disbelief. He thought that she came to solve the problems for him. Why does it look like she is adding to his problems instead of reducing them?
