Bab 132: The suspect

Phoenix arrived at the fourth floor where the caller asked her to go. The place was one of the store lots that was under construction.

The ceiling was hollow, with only wood planks as frames. White colour paint buckets and bags of cement were placed on the floor. Tools and ladders were scattered around the area. 

Carefully walking towards the inner part of the store, "I'm here" she said out loud.

Phoenix stood still in the middle of the room. Her eyes were looking upfront, but her other senses were on to the full volume. 

There's a faint sound of movement, it could not be heard clearly if someone didn't pay attention closely.

Phoenix turned around and pushed back the person who was trying to sneak up on her until the person back hit a pillar. 

Her hand grasped the man's jacket and her arms were pushing the man's neck towards the pillar, choking him slightly.
