Whenever something abnormal happens, there's bound to be a demon at play; Gao Guang couldn't think of any reason why MS-13 would target him, but since they had dispatched a formidable team to take him out, the matter was certainly not simple.

If it were any other issue, one could delay, wait until enough manpower was available before making a move, but for this inexplicably emerging enemy, Gao Guang wasn't willing to even wait overnight.

Many times, being just half a step too slow could mean missing out on a big opportunity.

Gao Guang would rather go alone and find Edgar that very night to ask him what he really wanted, but it was ultimately inconvenient to act alone without even someone to keep watch, so he must find at least a couple of helpers.

Additionally, before taking action, he at least needed to ask Lloyd, to see if this sudden attack had anything to do with the military, and even if it didn't, at least keep them informed.
