2 things, I seemed to put that it was his arm and eye that were lost it's his eye and legs, so hopefully, I've fixed it in the earlier chapters!
also, thanks for the support, and I would love it if you were to leave a comment, it can be about anything!
and also I will suggest any courses for the story, as i want to make it as enjoyable as possible
------------------------------------------
Uri was on his shoulder as Ajel overlooked a blank book , which was the most important book out of the bunch.
He had been at this place for 2 months now , and he had learned most of the history of runeterra , mostly about the winged sister , and a mythical place called "Ionia" which was a large far away place where magic was welcomed with magic arms.
This shocked Ajel , but filled him with more rage.
if only Demacia was like that.
Uri coiled around his neck , but it did nothing to soothe the fire he had in his heart.
The book was one about magic , smuggled into by Noxus.
Noxus was his back-up plan if anything was to go badly here , as they didn't care about your standing or background.
They care about 𝒑𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓 over anything , a simple slave could be the status of a noble on the front-line.
But yet , he had nothing.
He was a cripple , someone who can bring nothing to the table.
Broken dreams and a empty eye.
He could walk with this fake limb that Awek gave him , but he still couldn't run or go up stairs.
Awek said to memorize the history and the alchemy books first , so he did it with speed.
He could recognize herbs at a glance , although he couldn't recall all of there descriptions.
Magic was split into two categories , Spirit and Elemental.
Most mages are born with Elemental powers , but some rare cases are born with Spirit magic , or even a mixed version of both of them called. "Mixed"
these mages had Elemental and Spirit, and there magic is rare.
But unfortunately , it had no description in the book so it was merely up to the imagination of Ajel to figure out what is was.
He wondered what magic he had.
Then his eye's fell over to the chapter of the next page , named the awakening.
"Awakining occurs when a certain condition has been met.
For example , a strong emotion could be the key to unlocking the magic of someone ,
such as intense rage or bloodlust.
But the process doesn't has to be through a mental state , but physically.
For example, taking a life is a something someone may use to unlock their more "wicked magic."
Ajel through the book across the room , before groaning and laying back on the chair with his head pointed upwards.
He has done all of those.
So what did he need to do?
what his spark that would lit his fire?
his magic hasn't been unlocked yet , but since he was a mage , he had mana in his body.
Learning null spells could possibly help him achieve more power , and even give him more Quality of life and fighting weapons.
Sylas had used his percentage magic on his chains to make them hone into him , which ended the fight almost instantly.
Sylas....
Ajel gripped the chair , making the wood start to crack under the pressure.
Slowly grabbing Uri , from the top of his head , he observed the mighty Silverwing.
It had grown bigger , a lot bigger.
its body was at least 0.8 metres , with it showed how fast it was growing.
Uri should reach maturity in about 4 years , and then it would be the size of 8-10 metres with a wingspan of 14-16 metres.
Petting it on the head before going and picking up the book , Ajel looked over to the page where it would show the first and simple spell.
It was a light , and since pure mana was blue , it was a small blue light.
The book described how to sense your own magic , as he slowly shifted Uri off and then went into a lotus position , like the book sense.
The magic right now isn't refined enough , and to make it more refine is to make it more powerful and stronger.
He closed his eyes , before trying to drift away into the state of his mind , and his mind only.
And yet he couldn't do it.
He couldn't sense his own mana , no matter how he tried.
Every time he tried to meditate , he found the itchiness in his body , the turmoil in his mind..... all were distracting him from sensing his own mana.
He couldn't breathe while meditating , which caused him to have cold sweat every time he did it.
He felt infuriated , and a weakness nobody his own age should of beared.
He read the book again and again , trying to grasp the feeling in his body.
And yet he couldn't.
So he lay in his own sweat , on the floor , before looking up to the floor with a blank expression.
Every time he blinked he's reminded the time when Sylas's chains embraced him with there cold touch and he was forced to see his own sister.... d-die....
Tears rolled down the face of Ajel as he slowly remembered all the good times he had with his sister.
Stealing food from the bakery , going to the festivals in the hunting section , eating food.
The painful memories felt like they were choking him of air as he slowly closed his eyes.
He just wanted this to end.
