Bab 47: Continue and Pretend

Yang Ran stared at the commander, wondering what he was planning to make her do.

"I won't pursue you for what happened in Capital City."

The commander's words made her stunned.

She had thought that this man would tell her that he would take her back to be interrogated once the cruise returned to Capital City.

Didn't he tell her that she was a suspect in that shooting incident?

It couldn't be that he trusted her words and was willing to let her go, right?

With her current position where both her hands and legs were tied, Yang Ran found that she could not take this conversation with the commander seriously.

"Are you serious?" Yang Ran asked.

"Of course." Qi Ming Wei nodded.

"Why?" Yang Ran refused to believe that things would be this easy with the commander.

Qi Ming Wei smiled. "You are a victim. Not a suspect."
