Unfortunately, Zhao Chuchu did not have the chance to have breakfast at the store that Xie Heng had mentioned.

It was because Gan Maosheng had suddenly come to visit her.

"Chuchu, why didn't you come and say hi at the battalion? You should've told me that you're coming to the city!" Gao Maosheng looked as if he was angry. "If my subordinate did not tell me that someone had sold a tiger to the Visitor's Aroma and if I didn't ask about it, I would never have known that you and Heng were here."

Gao Maosheng was now treating Zhao Chuchu as his own granddaughter. Instead of addressing her as Mrs. Xie, he was now calling her first name.

"I wouldn't want to trouble General Gan when you're so busy," Zhao Chuchu quickly explained.

"What do you mean you don't want to trouble me?" The general waved his hand. "If not for you, I would've been dead by now."
