Chapter 28: Hidden Sun Peak.
At the same time, Adriel finally reached his courtyard.
Before he even entered his house A sweet-smelling aroma assaulted his nose causing his mouth to water.

In reaction to the strong aroma, his stomach rumbled like raging thunderstorms.
Only now did Adriel remember how hungry he was, he had forgotten to eat something after using the MIDAS touch blessing on Linxu's baby panda due to his eagerness to explore the sect, which he enjoy however he overtasked his body when he used soul power several realms higher than his current realm making his already tired body lack more energy.
"Linxu I'm home, What smelling so nice" Adriel licked his lips as he asked, immediately after he walked in.
" ill-mannered as usual I see" Fan Linxu shook her head as she casually said as she elegantly walked into the living room from the kitchen.
Adriel's eyes immediately began to shine when he saw her completely ignoring are words, instead, his eyes were glued to the glamourous set of dishes she held in her hands, it looked so beautiful and was brimming with spiritual energy.
Without waiting for her to invite him he immediately sat down at the dining table.
Fan Linxu inwardly smiled seeing his eager expression, it was the exact reaction she was going for.
As she thought of that she finally reached the dining and set the plates of food in front of him, it was a plate of golden Jollof rice and meat of fierce beasts she hunted a while ago.
Adriel looked at her with thankful eyes before devoting the meal in front of him and he couldn't help but praise her cooking skills, it was sweet tasting and flavourful, she had used a lot of special materials to prepare this food.
Asides from that it was filled with spiritual energy that quickly help Adriel recover his loss of spiritual energy and to his excitement, his Martial sapling also started growing.
"This feels great!" Adriel laughed happily in his heart.
He was so engrossed in devouring his meal that he didn't notice when a rainbow-colored dressed old man appeared in his living room and sat next to him at the table without saying anything.
Fan Linxu wasn't so surprised seeing the prime elder here after he did say he will occasionally pop in to give them updates about their mother.
"Would you also like something to eat?" She asked in a low voice as she saw the Old man greedily looking at Adriel's food.
Prime Elder Ooxi nodded furiously in reply.
Fan Linxu smiled as she quickly went inside the kitchen and returned with another set of dishes which she sharply gave the Prime elder, 'good thing she prepared plenty today.' She thought as she watched both Adriel and The Prime elder eating like ravenous beasts without any scruples about how they looked.
Time trickled by slowly and it was only thirty minutes passed before Adriel was full to the brim, he had a radiant smile on his face as he checked his stats.
He was now in the 4th layer of the martial core realm.
His realm advanced by three levels after finishing his meal, just what did she put in there ' Adriel was pleasantly surprised.
He finally raised his head and saw Fan Linxu.
"Compliments to the Chef for that scrumptious meal, your culinary skills are truly unrivaled in the entire world" Adriel shamelessly praised.
Fan Linxu couldn't help but roll her eyes at his words and she replied indifferently, "it's no big deal" but inwardly she smiled a satisfied smile.
Adriel continued this time he even gave a slight bow with a fanatic look on his face, "master chef I'm in awe of your skills and this humble one will deeply appreciate it if you can continuously prepare this type of food daily, I'm prepared to do anything" his shamelessness was in full display now but as long as he could get her to agree to it he didn't care we're his face was.
After all, this was an easy way to increase his cultivation, and even need to waste spirit stones.

'Cough cough' Adriel awkwardly coughed, he was sure this old man will start pulling his legs now but to his surprise, the old man looked at Fan Linxu and said.
"Great Chef Linxu, how about you become this old's man personal chef, I'll give you anything you want, and will provide everything you need to cook," Prime elder Ooxi said with a seriously
Adriel: '..."
Fudge this man was trying to poach his great chef...cough no his sister right in front of him'
Adriel hurriedly spoke up, "how can you be so shameless to ask your sect disciple to become your chef"
Prime Elder Ooxi snorted, "it's not like I wouldn't compensate her well for her hard work"
Adriel wasn't having any of it, "as if you have anything worthwhile to offer"
The Prime elder didn't back down and replied.
And like that, both of them started arguing over the great Chef.
As for the person they were talking about she excitedly watched their back and forth bickering, she even brought out popcorns at one point.
Only after another thirty minutes passed did Adriel finally change the topic, "By the way, Old man did you bring what I asked for"
Prime Elder Ooxi snorted, "what do you take me for, of course, I did" saying that he brought out a crystal ball about the size of four adult fists and a brown rope fifty feet long from his spatial ring.
Adriel finally revealed a satisfied smile when he saw the crystal, "thank you so much Prime elder" Adriel suddenly thanked him with a sincere look on his face and bowed.
Prime Elder Ooxi didn't take his actions to heart and said with a serious look on his face, "who wants your thanks hurry up and pay for them, it's 2300 rank 1 spirit stones in total"
Adriel's heart ached upon hearing that number, that was almost all he had on him, but a deal was a deal and the old man was so shameless to collect money from a poor disciple like him.
Adriel sighed before passing the money to the Prime elder, he was even trembling slightly as he did.
Prime Elder Ooxi took pleasure in his miserly appearance, "hahaha, not bad it was a pleasure dealing with you" saying that he finally gave Adriel the crystal ball and the brown rope.
Adriel silently received it with a bitter sweat smile.
Prime Elder Ooxi eyes suddenly lit up as he remembered something, "lest I forget, from what I saw at the library, your soul power seems to have surpassed the requirements to get a side occupation, I'll recommend you take one seeing that you are broke hahaha," he said the last part with a wry smile on his face
Adriel still eyes shone when he heard that he pondered a bit, he waved his hands reluctantly before saying, "I'll go check them out when I can"
Prime Elder Ooxi nodded before revealing the final reason he was here, "As for your mom I talked to her earlier on and even told her about your ability to cultivate again, she was excited and she said I should tell you she's proud of you all and she's fine, she even managed to find the mystic realm she was looking for and have already gone inside to explore it, she wouldn't be able to reach me for awhile, all in all, she's fine" Prime elder Ooxi explained at great length.
The room grew silent after he finished speaking, Fan Linxu had a worried look on her face her thoughts were unknown, as for Adriel, he felt relieved in his heart, "Thank you for letting us know" Adriel thanked him sincerely this time.
Prime Elder Ooxi nodded, " that's okay, make sure you quickly master the Soaring Roc technique soon, it might bring you surprising benefits in the Goku mystic realm" saying that the Prime elder disappeared from the room as usual.
Seeing him disappear Adriel couldn't help but fall into deep thoughts, he felt there was a hidden meaning to what the prime elder said last.
