THIS IS LIU WEI’S ROOM, RIGHT?
Wang Zheng and Liu Wei slept peacefully for several hours, until they were awakened by a knock on the door.
Hearing the knocking, Liu Wei's only reaction was to bury her face between the pillows. "Zheng, you answer the door…"
Wang Zheng was as sleepy as Liu Wei and just sat up in bed while trying to locate herself in time and space.
She was in full automatic mode and barely heard what the young omega had said.
Sleeping next to Liu Wei was really satisfying, she could sleep as well as a baby.
The little princess was soft and fragrant.
The queen was wearing light pajamas that she picked up from Liu Wei's clothes.
With shuffling steps she got up and went to the door.
When she finally opened the door she came across a smiling Anna carrying a huge cart with a tray and many other things.
Wang Zheng opened the space for her to enter and so she did.
Anna walked in quickly, but trying to be as silent as possible, she knew Liu Wei would probably be sleeping.
The little princess had a bad sleep when she was in estrus.
Anna first grabbed breakfast and set it on the table. "I brought your majesty's breakfast at Huan Yang's request... Make her eat even if she goes back to sleep later."
Wang Zheng nodded in agreement. "Right."
After placing all the food neatly on the table, she opened a small cart door and took out some changes of clothes and some documents.
"He also asked me to deliver these clothes and these papers."
The queen was already less sleepy and calmly watched everything she had asked for being delivered to her.
Huan Yang was a high level alpha, despite being the Queen's right-hand man she should keep him as far away from Liu Wei as possible while she was in estrus.
Liu Wei in the presence of an alpha could have all sorts of reactions, from attraction or repulsion to the pheromone, to keep her from being bothered, ideally, leaving her alone for that short period of time.
The queen felt a little guilty about having to use Liu Wei's maid as her own, but there weren't many choices… No one but Anna and Huan Yang should have known about the two omegas' relationship.
"Alright... Anna, sorry to bother you."
The beta didn't mind, if Liu Wei was happy she would be too. Furthermore, with Wang Zheng together with Liu Wei, her work was drastically reduced, the most she had to do was get the meals and take them to the young princess's room.
"It's not bothersome."
"Could you help me with a few things while I'm with Liu Wei? Huan Yang is an alpha, there's no way he's coming to her room during estrus."
Anna agreed that Huan Yang should keep his distance, the young omega was so sensitive to pheromones that she could have a very strong reaction and become a really troublesome situation.
"Alright queen, just ask me and I'll arrange anything."
Wang Zheng smiled with satisfaction. "Thanks."
Anna briefly stared at the bed and Liu Wei hadn't moved even an inch since she arrived. She smiled in her heart, the girl had really managed to fall asleep.
"She looks tired."
The queen agreed, only she knows how long it took for the little princess to finally be able to sleep. "Yeah, is her sleep always so chaotic during estrus?"
"Yes, in the first estrus she was completely awake for several nights."
"I understood."
Anna glanced briefly at her watch, she shouldn't be unnecessarily prolonged. "Majesty, anything just call me, I'm available."
She bowed briefly and quickly walked out of the room.
"Thanks."
Wang Zheng stared at her papers as she nibbled on one of her favorite shortbread cookies. She would have a lot of work to do.
She felt tired just looking at the pile of papers on the table.
The queen was taken out of her thoughts when there was a knock on the door again, she answered it without much ceremony, thinking that Anna had forgotten something.
She was completely wrong.
"Did you forget something Anna… Li Zhang?"
Surprisingly the person who was knocking on the door was Li Zhang, the queen felt curious and surprised, what was she doing there?
The rose-scented omega shared the same feeling of curiosity, after all, what would the queen be doing so early in Liu Wei's room?!
"Majesty?"
"Yea. What do you want?"
Wang Zheng couldn't help but feel nervous, no one was supposed to know that she and Liu Wei were together… Well, someone would now know.
The queen knew well that if anyone questioned the possibility of them being together, she wouldn't have the courage to deny it.
She loves that girl, how could she deny it?
Her heart fluttered at the prospect of her having to take over their relationship, after all Li Zhang was also vying for the post of queen mother.
Li Zhang felt funny seeing the queen in Liu Wei's room and made sure she was in the right room. "This is Liu Wei's room, right?"
The queen nodded and looked briefly at the bed, Liu Wei was still completely still on the bed.
"Yes, she is sleeping."
Li Zhang was thoughtful for a few seconds and decided to play the errand girl queen. After all, she wouldn't wake up Liu Wei and she wouldn't question the queen's presence in the young omega's room either.
Ignorance is sometimes a gift.
"I see… Could you let her know that I'll have dinner with her later?"
Li Zhang didn't intend to miss any of the performances, but after witnessing Liu Wei like that, she didn't want to leave her alone.
The queen would be forced to go anyway and Qui Mei was an alpha, it didn't make sense for her to accompany her cousin in the midst of estrus. So she felt that the ideal would be for her to stay with the little princess keeping her company.
Wang Zheng couldn't contain the sour feeling in her heart, well, she could understand that Li Zhang just wanted to help. But she would still be completely alone with her omega.
"Sure."
Li Zhang smiled gently and within seconds she was far enough away for the queen to close the door and return her attention to Liu Wei.
She walked slowly towards the bed and saw a Liu Wei completely wrapped like a huge present and only a pair of eyes sticking out.
The young omega was feeling tired and didn't want to get up, but she watched all the activity in her room. "Who was?"
"Li Zhang."
Liu Wei could feel a slight change in the queen's mood and was curious about it. "Something happened?"
The queen denied it, she didn't want to assume she was jealous. "Nothing… She said she's going to have dinner with you."
Liu Wei smiled, she enjoyed Li Zhang's company. "Good."
Wang Zheng felt her heart stop for a few moments. "Won't you miss me?"
Liu Wei stared into the queen's eyes.
She was staring at the little princess as if seriously questioning that.
Was Wang Zheng really jealous of Li Zhang?!
