The other guests also looked at each other, confused, because what Xu Anyi had just said did make sense. . . And Shanel had also said that the dress looked exactly the same as the main piece.
So it wasn't a fake?
But Yi Tingting was not going to give up so easily.
"Well who knows how you got your hands on the original design? Xu Anyi, can't you use your brain a little? Who are you to get the main piece from Kla's newest collection?"
She looked around at the guests, "Anyone here would know that it is impossible to get any piece from Kla, much less the main piece. If you are going to wear a fake, at least wear one from a more believable brand."
This was exactly what all the guests were still suspicious of, because they were almost 100 percent certain that Xu Anyi couldn't get her hands on a piece from Kla.
It was just too unlikely!
Even for the guests here, some of the most powerful upper-class families in Country Z, it was impossible to get Kla. And Xu Anyi. . . Well, she wasn't a part of them anymore, and she was probably just a normal person now without any money or power, so it was even more unlikely.
All the guests were getting tired of this drama and confusion, because they did not know who to believe anymore either.
But now, Yi Tingting still seemed to have the upper hand, because they just could not believe that someone like Xu Anyi could be able to wear Kla. So it had to be a fake. . .
Well then if it was, it would be absolutely humiliating for Xu Anyi, the past princess of the Xu family, to be wearing fake designer to an upper class party.
Everyone here knew that wearing fake designer was an absolute taboo in the upper class circle, and it would be even more shameful since she used to be the fashion icon of the upper class.
Lu Yuzhe looked over at Xu Anyi with a new hint of disgust, and Xia Yiwei's lips curled up slightly as she wasn't facing the crowd, and she raised an eyebrow at Xu Anyi, as if telling her she had won this battle.
Xu Anyi looked at Xia Yiwei and slightly furrowed her eyebrows together.
She wasn't scared, but she also did not know how she could prove that this dress wasn't fake anymore. . . After all, she herself couldn't even believe that she was wearing Kla.
Should she call Si Mu?
No, of course not! Si Mu was her secret weapon! She wouldn't use him until it was absolutely necessary.

Yi Tingting smiled as she made her way to the crowd to take a better look. Yes, this should be able to prove that Xu Anyi didn't get the dress! There's only one in the whole world!
Xu Anyi raised an eyebrow as she pulled her phone out as well, and indeed, Kla had a new post from a few seconds ago.
Yi Tingting walked over to the girl and snatched her phone away, looking at the post for herself. The other guests also began pulling their phones out to look at the new post.
'Kla: We are happy to announce the release of our newest collection designed by our one and only designer, Kelly Hale! The release show for this collection will be next Friday at the X Gallery in the Main Hall at 8 P.M. All the pieces will be a part of the show except for the main piece, which has been sold already.
As the most special piece of this collection, there is only one in the entire world. An image of this collection's main piece has been attached below.'
Yi Tingting scrolled down and looked at the image of the dress on display inside a large glass container, and it indeed looked just like Xu Anyi's dress.
She scrolled back up to finish reading the post, hoping to find something mentioning who the dress had been sold to.
'To prevent fakes of the main piece from being sold in the future, Miss Hale has a special design on the dress. To know if you have the authentic piece, check the inside of the zipper of the dress, where Miss Hale used a red diamond in the back of the dress.
Upon request of the buyer, the letters "smay" have been engraved on the diamond as well.
Kla looks forward to seeing you at the show next Friday!'
Yi Tingting's lips curled up as she finished reading the post, and Xia Yiwei had also finished reading the post with Lu Yuzhe, and she muttered, "Red diamond. . ."
Yi Tingting nodded, "Yes, a red diamond. I'm assuming everyone has read the post, right? Xu Anyi, what do you have to say now?"
Another girl to the side explained, "Red diamonds are incredibly rare and hard to come by. . . I heard that red diamonds are the most expensive and rarest diamond color in the world!"
Another guest nodded his head in agreement, "Yes, I studied diamonds before. The red color of the diamond is created by a rare occurrence in its atomic structure, so it is the most rare and expensive diamond color to be found. Wow, I can't believe Kla was able to use one in a dress. . ."
Hearing this, Yi Tingting's smile widened even further as she walked back over to Xu Anyi, who stood proudly without any hint of fear.
"Well, didn't you say you have the real dress? Then show us!"
Xu Anyi looked at Yi Tingting without any expression, "Didn't you see the post? It says the diamond is in the back zipper of the dress. You want me to unzip my dress to show you?"
Yi Tingting scoffed, "What? Are you scared?"
Xia Yiwei pretended to grab onto Yi Tingting as she muttered, "It's okay, Tingting. . . I'm sure Anyi is embarrassed already, don't humiliate her further. Let's just forget about it. . ."
Xia Yiwei's words made it seem like the truth had been settled already, and Xu Anyi was the one who had lied. And this was exactly part of Xia Yiwei's plan. She had to pretend to be the good guy, while also pulling Xu Anyi down the water.
However, Xu Anyi merely smiled and turned around, pulling her long hair to the front of her shoulder, revealing her beautiful and elegant back, "Go ahead!"
