Bab 32: 2.14 Mistake

Delilah looked at Esdras foot tapping with a frown. She followed his eyes and saw that he was looking at the doors. A couple of minutes later Asher and Cillian entered the ballroom together.

They walked to the thrones and respectfully bow to the emperor. They said at the same time:

"Your majesty."

Esdras nodded and he looked at Cillian with cold eyes. Cillian went to take his seat. The entire night he felt bored. Asher invited him to dance but he told him that he wasn't in the mood. He kept feeling angry looks from Delilah.

He can't wait to deal with her. When one of the concubines walked toward the thrones with a glass of wine Cillian narrowed his eyes. She walked the stairs and bowed to the emperor.

She smiled and said:

"Your majesty this noble concubine got you a glass of your favorite wine."

She was about to give it to Esdras when she felt a force push the glass toward her and it spilled all over her dress.
